"Month after month you would hold my hands and tell me everything would be okay, though I would still be in doubt of it all. I would fear the worst, losing you, or not being able to be myself around you, among many other things, fear was so constant in my life towards those I wanted to get close to, but with you I have learned to dismiss it. Every recent challenge I've been faced with, you've been there to encourage me, you've been so supportive of me that I've no longer seen the need to worry as much as before. Together we can dive into almost anything, but even better, you've helped me learn to stand on my own feet once again. I can trust you."

I've been so caught up on finishing the current season of The Raccoon's Den that I've forgotten to keep this account active with my other favorite hobby. I've always been a fan of drum 'n' bass but I wasn't able to really figure out a way to incorporate my own work into it, this was an experiment I started with when I tried to get into the genre for the first time, I had been working on it for nights on end, I decided to try and see if my own style of ambience could blend in with it and I was able to successfully pull it off. It dawned on me that this wasn't actually new, drum 'n' bass blends in with a lot of different genres if the artist knows what they're doing. For this track, I wanted to capture the feeling of running in the city at night, going through the concrete jungle with a sense of fearlessness and getting blissfully lost in it all. The atmospheric pad synth I used as the lead was meant to symbolize the feeling of being calm and focused, the piano to compliment the positive vibe of just going for the rush and the other backing synths I used during the transitions to kinda give off this feel of cool air bushing along oneself. I made the track slowly progress to a stop to emphasize taking a break (or stopping) and observing the surroundings, getting one last glimpse of the city before retiring. Personally I fell the track is pretty good for a night drive as well, hope you guys enjoy this one!
