Next concept for my table top RPG Himmelsstürmer.

The Menir are a physically strong and blunt looking race, but don't be fooled. Although their heavy and slow looks, they are really witty creatures. Developing muscles comes easy to the Menir. With little exercise they gain great physical strength, no matter what environment they live in.

Menir are jolly fellows and have a strong tradition of celebrating and feasting, also hunting. But of course, they are vicious when they decide to fight. A Menir will not fight if they deem it unnecessary, but when they decide, there's not much use in talk. Negotiating is a sport to them and they actually love politics, although they admitedly don't do as good as some other races. They couldn't care less. But as they lie in a strong community with other races, where their physical strength cannot always be used to dominate others, they have gotten used to negotiation as some kind of celebration.

Menir love to sing. They don't care if others like it or not.
