As an early and frequent adopter of the technology, Balina Mahigan has access to some prosthetic not currently available on the general market.

The most obvious of these are the hardpoint mounts for her arms. Most prosthetic limbs are attached in a permanent or at least semi-permanent manner; Balina herself has changed them out enough times to simply have modular sockets, instead. These sockets can accommodate most universal synthetic arm designs, and it is generally assumed that she pilfers the first two sets in any given shipment meant for the labs.

Additionally, there are two smaller connections located in her back. Originally designed as an experiment in implementing a KVM interface into her own head, they were deemed a failure for a variety of reasons. When not left empty, they are usually fitted with the thin, flexible tentacles seen here.

Sat on this one a bit longer than I intended! Wom-Bat drew this up a while back, before I'd even actually gotten the 'first' head moof picture completed. I am impatient except when I'm not. The dude is a saint for putting up with the silliness that went on during the whole process. The tentacles are a thing that were in the original spec, but didn't get put into the Taxiderby picture, so they're kind of questionable right now. May keep them, may not. We'll know once the real ref is done, I guess. :D
