Made in 2013

Perenelle is the second bunny teddy I have made, I improved Charlie's pattern to make it easier for her to stand (she doesn't have a chubby belly like Charlie does). Her fur is of the same kind of mohair as Charlie, but a shade darker. She is modelled after the sable rabbit breed, but I literally gave her the chest marking real sable martens have, haha. I thought it would look a bit boring if she were entirely brown... I shaded her ears, paws and face with Copic marker to give her those sable points. Her face is also partially needle felted and she has brown glass eyes. The inside of her ears is made of felt and has a soft pink pastel shading. She has plastic pellets in her body and fine sand in her feet to help her stand. I thought she looked like a sophisticated lady so I gave her an old French name (based on Perenelle Flamel, indeed).

Perenelle is 25 cm tall when standing (not including ears). She costs €80 but has been sold already. I do accept commissions for this kind of plushie (for more details please note me, is there such a feature on Weasyl?).
