A Cold Day (2006)
This was one of the first comics I successfully completed, and it was included in a three comic collection called Small Stories. There’s so much I would change about this comic if I were doing it today. The art of course, but especially the pacing, it isn’t nearly contemplative enough. But I still like it and I learned a lot doing it. Thank you for reading it.
If you enjoyed this comic, please consider becoming a patron of my newest story, On Yonder Lea I’d Shelter Thee, a 79 page comic which begins in June.

Oh, man... this is depressing stuff... Very powerful, though. I think the pacing and dialogue really works well. In such a small amount of time, you say a huge amount of stuff with minimalist conversation and emotions. Just goes to show that you're an excellent story teller. ^-^ (I've been reading Waiting for Godot recently, so I'm feeling a little analytical hehe)
I caught a glimpse of this on my tumblr dash and immediately recognized it as your work, haha~
Was gonna say somethin' about how sudden tragedy can be and that frightful lack of understanding children can have (though that may not be the point of this work, just speculating, haha). A good read. Always enjoy your stories~
