I'm trying an experiment to get the detail, actually. I am going to do all the main color and blending then spray with workable fixative and go back to do the detail over the fixative. The pencils I use are oil based, so once they get a fair enough layer they blend well, but detail poorly without something between layers. I am hoping ot really detail in the hair and the feathers with this technique.

From what I can tell this looks really nice! Nice wing shape, just be sure you do enough fine detail to make those feathers look right. The face and body, again from what I can tell are looking much better than your first sketch. Nice bunns!
