This is a poem that was originally meant to be more of a venting metaphor when I was feeling really down about myself but as I started to feel much better it became more of a story too about finding a ruined statue. Kind of in an in between state mentally right now from when I first started this and when I finished it. Shared this before on Twitter along with another poem I’m gonna post here soon.
