I’ve been holding onto this story for a while now. I wrote it as a gift to a friend who sadly deleted his Twitter accounts, has left behind his sonas and I’m not sure if he’s still on the cusp of leaving the fandom or not. Recently he has given me permission to now share this story. He’s an Aleutian Indigenous person who I knew as Lezlo and this was the story of his sona who is from the same tribe and a shaman. As a non-Indigenous person myself I tried to write this as respectfully with his help and to the best of my ability as I could. I hope it’s good and a decent enough send off to him.
