I got to see Mad Max in theatres about a month ago with Puppy420 and TriadFox and I will say its been a long time since i have been that obsessed with a movie. I ended up taking my best friends in Flagstaff up to see it for a second time (their first) when I visited them last weekend. I'll probably try to go see it again before it leaves theatres. I was just entranced by the aesthetics of the movie; of the vehicles and the people. I was also terrified and excited by the kind of dystopia that world introduced; a world without trees. My favorite characters were of course the Many Mothers, and I would go see a movie completely based on them and how Furiosa came to be captured by the Citadel. This piece was an inked in sketched I drew that I felt echoed the sentiments of one of the Many Mothers finding the Last Dandelion and the mere sight of it bringing her to her knees. I may see about going further with this piece and coloring it digitally to have for my portfolio for the AZfurCon which I'll be vending with Triad and Obonic at.
