And the pairings return with Bucky Barnes, aka the Winter Soldier, and Dick Grayson, aka Nightwing. Wouldn't this be a team up to die for? For those that don't know, both of these fine heroes eventually take over for their respective former partners. Which, I can promise, you can all look forward to being an upcoming pairing. Just sayin'.

I chose Dick because he has actually taken over as Batman, like Bucky took over when Cap died. Damian hasn't done that yet. And as long as he insists on being dead, I don't see that happening. I also prefer Dick to Damian, but that's me.

Last I heard he was killed in Batman Inc #8. I know Batman's been trying to bring him back lately, so maybe he's succeeded and I missed it. I am a little behind in the more recent books. I am ashamed. hangs head

don't worry i missed his death cause my pull list didn't have batman inc. Grant Morrison left a bad taste in my mouth with that title and the return of bruce wayne. one messed up acid trip that was completely incoherent.
