A trade I did a few months ago with Yechii :"D
Have a look at their amazing half!

Wow I don't even know when I last did an art trade it's been so long XD Probably since school's so busy these days I don't really open them ever anymore haha.. Ahh I had the wonderful opportunity to do a trade with Yechii / Yechii@dA~ This is their chara Coral who's a Spring Dragon c:

I didn't find any info on Coral or her species so ahh I hope this is keeping in character ouo First thing I thought of was cute little sprouts when I hear the word spring~ I dunno there's a bunch of them by her feet since I was thinking of Okami and how flowers and grass would grow where Amaterasu stepped XD She's a really interesting chara to draw I really love the chance to draw some less ordinary critter!
She was definitely a challenge to do a chibi with she's so long and complex I sketched this a ton of times before being happy enough with how 'chibi' her proportions were X"D Or just fitting her on the canvas haha even though I especially used a lot bigger than usual canvas pfft her ears kept going off! Very happy with the final sketched I used though c: Also the lines; I really like them too~ I kept my lines less weighted than usual and doubled the minimum thickness setting though sadly a lot of detail got lost after colouring her markings because of the near black fringe around her mane so it just looks really thick around those areas D: On the contrary I really like the ribbons though I was a bit worried at first before I started on how I was gonna do those since they curl around her but they turned out great I think :"D

Ahh I put a lot of work into the shading to make it extra nice since your half was so amazing I really hope you like it~ ;v; I'll note you the full res/unwatermarked version in a sec! And I hope the background is what you had in mind when you said chibi with simple BG ahh your BG was all full blown beautiful and aaaaaa
