I wanted to try something different for the drawing and actually try to do a background and I'm kinda proud of my work but I wish I didn't rush with the shading. After re-reading that I realized it sounded a bit "put-down" to me. Wanted to add that you did do a great job, I was just so caught up in giving multiple options for day settings that I forgot to mention that over-all it IS good.

You didn't sound put down at all and I'm very happy you responded, I also noticed she should of been a little darker but the problem was I got so far in the drawing and I had to send in the art trade by the next day I just had to try my best to make it look as right as I can. I'll be saving your comment for future ideas when drawing, thank you very much.

The sky color isn't blended as smoothly in the top left corner. I like how you did the grass, still showing the texture while not making it look like too much. I think you'd have done better to go with a day sky rather than a night sky, since making it a night setting means the character should be more darkly shadowed. Also with the blue sky to keep it from seeming plain you could throw a few distant birds, instects, clouds or anything else in there (including mountain range in the far far distance).
