Janja the hyena by Among Sculptures

Janja the hyena

Among Sculptures

I know what you're thinking ,,Who's butt is this, right in my face?'' This cute little butt belongs to Janja, a hyena from the lion king, the lion guard universe! He is my first sculpture done with sculpey! Before that i only made fimo charms (weird ones of course but don't you worry they aren't allowed to come near you, i talked to them, they will stay at least 5 meters away!!!). When i first sculpted him, he didn't look like this and he didn't have a base! Back then i was so excited to sculpt something that i completely forgot to take precautions and was like, La la la sculpting, la la la hyena, la la la dinners ready, gotta go! He couldn't stand until now, he always had to rest on something like the wall of my desk and because he hadn't had a finish, his paint stuck to it and he lost so much color to the deskwall! He was almost blank, on the opposite my desk got even more colourful, like a landscape of Bob Ross, everytime i pulled Janja with my whole strength from the wood! Recently, i had time to work on him again. He got washed, sanded and painted (the desk, too!) after that i gave him with many efforts his base, which is so little that it's hard to see! Now you're asking,, why is your first sculpture a cartoon hyena, why not a human or buildings or nail polish?'' Excellent ideas, but the reason why my first sculpture is a cartoon hyena is because i just love the lion king, (its the only thing i can read fanfictions about!) a year ago the lion guard series started when i searched for a character to sculpt, i was so excited when i first saw kion because i thought he's little Mufasa but sadly no! I just love the hyenas in TLK,TLG and loved the name Janja( because it means smart!) that i made up a hyena with that name! He is a lone hyena without a pack and lives in the dead land called the outlands because it's dry season he walks up the river where it is just a little stream with a little watterfall and crosses it to get to the pridelands, where everything is green and vivid. He'll hopefully catch some game quickly before he has to return to the outlands or a well known guard will chase him out! Life is unfair, isn't it? You cant see it because of my famous photography skills but the water has a shiny finish that does sparkle! In fact, it sparkles so much that i dont need to turn my lights on when it's dark outside! Maybe thats too much sparkle! I should call some experts to investigate the case !!! Janja is
15.5cm (6.1 inches) high, 11cm (4.3 inches) wide, 19cm (7.4 inches) long, made out of super sculpey, alumium foil, wire, acrylic paint and a wooden base. That's some long text with enough exclamation points to stay healthy!
