I made an amazing discovery while I was working on this wing it commission for Unbalanced. I've dabbled in faux watercolours before, but I've never gotten them to work nearly as well as they did here, nor nearly as quickly. It was a blast getting to draw this fluffy sweetie again, and discover a new way of colouring I definitely want to use for more commissions in the future!

Thank you kindly! I wasn't too much of a fan of this Pokemon before I did this and another image for Unbalanced, but I think my opinion of certain Pokemon always improves after I attempt drawing them. :D Big ears and bigger ear fluff turned out to be quite fun!

This is another brilliant example of how glorious art tools have become. You could make prints of these, and I wouldn't be able to tell it wasn't actually watercolor.

It's certainly much easier on an artist's budget to work digitally instead of with actual paints, for the most part! But you can't quite beat the feel of brush on paper, which is probably why I still dabble in traditional media despite digital being quite beautifully advanced~

The watercolors really turned out nice here. Hard to believe they're done digitally.
Also, I can't simply ignore a nicely done pic of a braixen. Some might say I have a soft spot for them...
