My marvelous friend Ironclad has gotten me terribly hooked on X-Men. Somehow, I'd forgotten completely that I was extremely fond of it, until I started watching X-Men Evolution again, and now I've been marathoning all the animated X-Men series.
And it's also Ironclad's fault that I've become helplessly enamoured with this adorable fuzzy dude. I remember Nightcrawler being a favourite character when I was growing up, but somehow he'd completely disappeared from my mind. But now I can't get enough of this adorable goofball.
Ironclad has been throwing about some concepts for an older Evolution's Kurt, so I helped redesign his X-Men uniform a bit, since he didn't like the uniform that the "future" Kurt was implied to have near the end of the series.

...I actually cosplayed Todd Tolansky for Youmacon last October.
I have pictures with a couple of Nightcrawlers.-
Oh dude, that's awesome! :D I've stumbled across pics of a couple cosplays of Nightcrawler, but never heard of anyone that did Tolansky. I'm definitely tempted to do one of Kurt or Kitty myself. x3

And really now? I would've thought someone would do Kitty, considering how easy she would be to cosplay. Gives me more of an excuse to do something with her, then~ <.<

o__o nope. Saw two Kurt Wagners, one Nick Fury, went in with a Tabby and a Jubilee, a Cable, and one more X-Men character I can't currently recall... but no Kitty.

I still can't help but find that terribly baffling and kinda sad, IMHO. I'm gonna make it my mission to do up an awesome cosplay as Kitty then, dammit.

Truth is? I just had half those clothes lying around my house when I decided that I should do a cosplay.
Ragged jeans that had holes in the knees? Check.
Ugly brown shirt? Check.
Nasty white sweater? Check.
I only had to buy the contacts, the green shirt in between, and the Chucks... and some hair dye to make my normally almost-black into that greasy mousy brown. XDI'm secretly just Todd incarnate... don't tell anybody.
You definitely need to do a Kitty--and if you choose to do Evo-Kitty, you need to like, talk in the really bad Valley-Girl, like, all the time~
