So this is a MASS edit of the DTA entry that has been abandoned since March. The owner seems to have left so instead of just keeping the adopt for my own, I changed a lot about him and now he's mine =u= Here's the copy/paste of all his info that I wrote up for him and am still going to keep.

Name: Dimitri
Age: 12

Personality: Dimitri tends to misbehave himself at home and around friends. When he's in a new place or around a lot of people he doesn't know, he's shy and quiet. He'd like to be a decent student except for the fact that he has dyslexia and struggles with reading. Because of his difficulty, he's lost many friends over the years as he's been held back from his poor grades. This has resulted in his parents home schooling him so he'd be able to learn and study at his own pace without the pressure of being made fun of by his peers. With his older brothers help, he's slowly been improving his skills in reading and learning.

Aside from his reading issues, Dimitri is an outgoing and carefree child. He can be sensitive when it comes to teasing but other then that, he's generally very friendly and easy to get along with. More then anything, he wants to be like his older brother whom he looks up to.

Bio: Dimitri was born into a family of 3, making him the 4th member. His parents had tried for years after they'd had his older brother Sterling, to have another child and it wasn't until he was 12 that Dimitri was born. Unlike most kids, Sterling had been thrilled to have a little brother and Dimitri was well taken care of as he grew up. He got through school well up until 3rd grade when his teacher started to notice his difficulty with reading.

His parents were contacted and though concerned, decided he had to finish out the remainder of his 3rd grade year. After being told he'd be home schooled, Dimitri had pleaded with his parents, saying there was nothing wrong with him and that he'd study even harder to get the grades he needed to pass. With some hesitation, his parents allowed him back to the school again. Unfortunately for Dimitri, 4th grade only proved to be an even bigger problem for him. Ashamed that he was failing so miserably, he told his older brother he couldn't handle it and had him tell their parents.

Both his parents and Sterling made sure to comfort the boy any time they had the chance to, telling him that he'd be able to catch up to his classmates in no time. Sterling even praised him, saying he'd likely be smarter then them because he could learn as much as he wanted to and there was no one there that could stop him from asking silly questions. So with the encouragement of his family, Dimitri started home schooling. Of course it was still a challenge for him but he found it much easier to relax without the pressure of people watching or judging him at every misread word or spelling error.

Upon his 12th birthday, he learned about his brothers miraculous rescue of a boy in his class who had attempted suicide. Their parents had been deeply worried that he'd been hurt but Sterling had assured them that he was fine and that he'd be bringing the boy to stay with them for awhile. When Dimitri met Alix, he was curious about all the bandages and bruises that seemed to cover the boy. When he asked his brother about the other boy, Sterling had told him that things in Alix's home were not like their own. Alix's parents fought all the time and when Alix tried to stop them, he got hurt. It had driven him to the point where he didn't want to be alive.

Though confused as to what it all really meant, Dimitri wanted to help Alix just as much as Sterling did so whenever the other was home from school, Dimitri made him little gifts and tried to play games with him or simply just cuddled close, trying to read a story out loud to him. He knew it was probably very annoying for the high school boy but Sterling always reassured him that Alix appreciated the company even if he didn't say it out loud.

Likes: roses, his family and friends, music, all sorts of foods, the moon, causing trouble, his parents dog; Vin, cuddling, learning, being helpful & comforting

Dislikes: being bored, being teased for his disability, being used, rudeness/disrespect, being left alone, bullies
