This will likely upset some people in viewing/reading this...This is Kairi (Kai-re). Her story is sad and horrible. Here's a little story I created for her when I adopted her. It's not a pretty one so you've been warned.

She was used to it. Used to the sounds of shouting in her face, used to the screams of others in the cells around her. Used to the endless abuse that her captors thrust upon them. She was a prisoner of war and she had been for several years now. The war was probably over but she would never know that for sure. All she knew was that she was trapped here and there was certainly no way to get alive. She could still remember the men with guns bursting into their home late one evening just after her family had gone to bed. They had inspected everyone closely, shot her parents and took her and her younger brother outside to a large truck. When her brother had started screaming for help, they shot him too. It was then that 7 year old Kairi had learned to stop feeling. Her emotions were instantly locked deep away inside her. Don't react. Don't let them see how scared and tormented you are. It was best to remain stoic and silent. Only answer when addressed; even that could get her beaten around further. Her body was beaten, bruised and broken in more ways then one. Her right eye was no longer usable after she'd misspoken and gotten herself tortured for it. All she wanted was to escape...but then...what was the point? There was no one left for her to go to. At 12 years old, in the middle of the harsh dessert, she would be lucky to survive on her own even if she had managed to escape. All she could do...was continue to endure the agony that was now her life.

In other words...I needed an OC that I could draw beaten up and abused. I do not support this sorta thing in real life. It's fiction and not real so don't gripe at me.
