Since Kaze has been infected with some kind of void entity which is getting more present through out the time, they're both not aware of the dangerous situation just yet. Kuro won't know until some point and Kaze can't remembers his panic attacks afterwards, especially when he isn't told the truth for his own safety.

But the entity is growing stronger causing a lot of pain and troubles.
