Daren the Divine Ninetales has to look after the universe at large, but they still want to ensure that their homeworld is looked after in the times they cannot be around. Luckily, they have some friends from before their divinity who they can rely on without worry to take care of things. One poke in the back from a giant and divine kitsune isn't at all necessary to pass on his gift to Ash, but there is plenty of amusement to be had seeing their friend's expressions change as they notice the transformation taking hold.
