Uneasy Test Subject, Part 3

Alterflane

"Aw, come on! Is that really all?"

Viridian was pretty vocal in her disappointment; the mixture consumed by her helpful volunteer did little more than partial plush-ification. Certainly, it was somewhat amusing to see the fox lose his balance and land on the ground with a soft thud as his leg become increasingly less organic. Lucky then for Alt that his new toy-like limbs did a fantastic job of breaking his fall. In fact it looked rather comfortable, his well-stuffed arm visibly swelling as it absorbed the young fox's weight. The point stands though, that the experiment had the potential of being so much more. This was quite the letdown.

Alterflane's expression too showed less than radiant enthusiasm over the experiment. This was more to do with Viridian's clear disapproval of the results and apparent disregard to how he was coping, rather than a desire for further effects from the solution he had drank. So he just sat there getting used to the feel of his current form while Viridian scribbled her "notes" - a doodle of a half-vulpine half-cuddly toy scribbled messily across her page.

I'm planning on continuing this soon, I've had a bit of a busy spell so I've not had much chance to draw what comes next. But I am looking forward to picking this back up.

That's great to hear, I appreciate it. I wanted to try and do a 50-50 split between a normal tail and a plush one. I thought the zip would make an ideal dividing line between the two states ^ ^

ah, dont think that was needed though, as the stitches separating the colors seemed fine, alongside the fur looking like its getting absorbed onto the tail, as it grows and becomes fabric at the same time
