A redraw of a VERY old dino thing. I would have liked to have actually scanned the old drawing, but unfortunately I don't know where it is... I think I might have thrown the original out... All I have is this photo sitting around on my hard disc :I I took a few libraties with the markings when I redrew this guy.
I think I drew the top one when I was somewhere around 8-11 years old, I dunno.

Yeah, Weasyl's a bit slow with comments and stuff. It's a (relatively) new site after all, and most people are still using FurAffinity and DeviantART despite their flaws.
I need to update mine more often as well, but there's not much to show really xD

Mhmm. Right now I'm purposely not using Weasyl for any person art, only commissions and doodles. I don't think I'll be uploading any of my personal stuff here, but I guess we'll see. I'm having a hard time remembering to upload to DevArt too at the moment XD

Yeah, I was planning on not posting any more personal work to DevArt either. I haven't been too keep on posting any personal stuff online at all for about a year now. I was only going to post commissions and sketch dumps to both DevArt and Weasyl :P But recently I decided to give DevArt another try. I've been posting a bit of personal art there since December, but I don't know if I'll really keep posting... I just don't have the motivation. Too much shit going on :I (The reason I stopped posting personal art is because I started experiencing more and more art theft and DevArt's admins couldn't care less about that kind of things. I started putting huge watermarks on all of my stuff, but it just doesn't seem worth posting when it's covered up so much)

Yah, it's usually friends and groups that do more about the Art Thefts than anyone else. Once a user gets a bad enough rep from people pointing out that they're not the author, they generally duck out on their own. When their validity is challenged by so many like that, only an idiot would keep trying to hide behind "This is my art" when it's clearly not.
It's an ongoing problem that probably never will be solved fully, and everyone's got their own ways of handling it or avoiding it. DA's the opposite of YouTube I think. YT's quick to take action, way too quick even xD
Do ye have a FA though? (They've got their own mess of problems like DA, but meh. Every site does sadly)Really sorry to hear that it's been giving ye so much trouble, some of my friends feel the only way to fully avoid it is to just never put one's work online to any extent, but then everyone else is missing out on the artwork from an artist they enjoyed D:
I have noticed though that if an artist seeks help from fellow artists, friends, and their watchers... THe solution will come on its own. It's when it happens off-site that it gets trickier >_>Anyways~ I had an internet outage for a bit thar, but it's back (oviously ;P) and I can send the monies for this fierce beastie if you send me a note with where to send the money :>

Mhmm, I think it's very sad. It's a shame that it needs to be so hard to protect your stuff. DevArt clearly isn't serious about it. The reason I even made a Weasyl account in the first place was because Weasyl seemed to be serious about protecting art, but now I'm hardly using it >O>;
Yep, I have an FA. I made it some years ago. I wasn't sure if I was going to use it or not, but I made an account just to reserve the username "Altarior" (I've tried that name being taken in a few places). ......and then I ended up never using it. Heard it was just as bad as DevArt XDGreat news! I'll send a note c:

FA's got its own problems, some similar to DA and others just rumors spouted by people angry at the staff or fellow users.
I personally use FA more since its more accepting to "uncommon" interests than elsewhere (I'm into vore quite a bit, but I always keep it clean and stuff. Like in childreen's cartoons :> I don't like NSFW stuff, pain misery and etc, just not my thing >_>), and despite the harsh light it gets from people there are good people there. I can say the same about DA as well really - both sites have their ups and downs, their good people and their dipwad idiots. DA gets more of those because of it being larger and around longer, as well as being easier to 'access' than FA.Since I tend to stick to myself and not really get involved in the community beyond chatting with friends and my watchers, I'm often oblivious to some of the drama that goes around on both sites. Weasyl's a good site, but a bit empty at times. DA and FA both seem much more lively, despite everyone raving about how much they want to get away from the sites :B
But yeah. Neither site is perfect, both sites have their flaws and then their glaring flaws.... Ultimately I'd say it's up to personal preference - which one you'd feel you'd tolerate most / hate the least xD
Whatever the choice, having friends to help ya will always be good. Even if you don't have a DA, that won't stop people from grabbing images off Google Search then uploading them. But yah.... Should go to happier topics now I think, so we don't get too depressed x)-
Amen to that :b Gotta put up with a lot of sh*t in all places, huh? Well, I guess that's the internet. Kinda sad, really, but not much to do about it. Either all the admins have gotta get serious or more places have gotta introduce age limits, and I don't see either one happening >O> Thousands of members is a lot of keep track of and age limits are easily bypassed by just typing in another date. I guess even if someone wanted to create a bit of order on the internet it'd be impossible xD
I have to admit, after having experienced art theft a couple of times it kinda doesn't bother me too much anymore. I'm not sure how I should feel about not being bothered by it... Is that good or bad? Reposting is fine, I only have a problem when someone is trying to claim ownership, but my oversized watermarks should take care of that part.
Aha, perhaps a happier topic would be a nice change of pace after this xD Wanna talk about ORAS or something?

Yah, I don't think that DA's admins are fully of the "We don't care" opinion, but rather their forces are spread too thin so to speak. Hundreds of thousands of members, probably getting a few hundred tickets a day - ranging from "false alarms" (Mistaken reports), "Spiting" (Trying to get someone you're angry with in trouble), and so on... But who knows. There's probably a bit of incompetance mixed in along with just struggling to do their job with varying success.
But yeh, new subject x)Mmm I haven't finished AS myself. I was pretty excited at first when I got it finally (ANd managed to get the language into English, took a moment to realize that first page it showed me was indeed the Language options haha) but that sort of waned over time, when I realized that once I finished the Delta Episode it'd be Ruby and Sapphire all over again: A game I'd never touch again. Emerald's Battle Frontier was what kept me playing the mainstream games when I didn't have friends to play with locally, and lately I've grown mixed opinions of the battling mechanics, go by far too quickly for me sometimes hah xD
Overall I'm having fun with it, but right now I'm setting it down - taking a bit of a break since I played it pretty much nonstop for days when I got it!
Playing Super Smash Bros 4 on the WiiU and Civilization IV in the meantime :>
I don't have SSB4 for the 3DS just yet. Can't afford to import another 3DS game from Japan for a while ;P-
Gotta say, I love everything about ORAS myself. I've been playing AS so much, haha xD The battle frontier never really grabbed me, so personally I'm not missing it, but I can see why a lot of other people would be sad that it's gone. At least gone for now. I think they'll bring it back in some other instalment. Probably just wasn't space enough on the cartridge with all the other things, I guess?
If I had to mention something I was disappointed about in ORAS it'd probably be the missing Safari Zone and Game Corner though. I used to have a lot of fun with those two things D: But oh well, maybe some other time... Overall loved ORAS, definitely my new fav games in the pokémon series, and I can't wait for the next games, whether it be Z or X2/Y2 or XZ/YZ or whatever. Some people are saying we might get Kanto remakes again, that'd be awesome too in my opinion c: I kinda want to go through every region in 3D now, haha xD
Unfortunately I haven't ever tried SSB, so I can't say anything about it, but it looks like fun :O So you're importing Japanese games? Does that mean you're getting those Japanese pokémon events too? If so, lucky you! :P
