He has a name now, Lord Xoxuoggzuat, but his species does not have a name, this guy though, he's huge and he's the King/lord or whatever.
The idea is to base a sentient species of eusocial insects and their rankings/jobs off of chess pieces, and this guy is the King piece equivalent. Like the King chess piece. he's pretty useless in combat unless he's up close , he can defend himself pretty well, he's pretty sizable and has toxic stingers on the outer sides of his second set of hands. He also has whip like tails, that can hit hard, though they're purpose is more for communication and propelling him through water and other liquids, such as the royal jelly he spends much of his life soaking in.
His sole purpose is to produce the hive's populations by laying eggs, and as the hive gets bigger, more lords can be supported. The biggest hives can have up to 9 lords, with hundreds of thousands to millions of subordinate individuals. When a hive unexpectedly gets too large and cant support itself, a couple younger lords will leave with a percentage of the surplus population to start a sister hive some where else. Lords have no wings so they have to be carried by subordinates that do have wings.

Hopefully I'll make the entire set of Queen/knights/bishops/rooks/pawns for these guys.
