When James Cameron's Avatar came out I gained a new favorite movie and obsession. I ended up watching that movie....9 times...in 3D every time...and once in IMAX 3D. I had the Avatar Blues bad.....so to help cure my blues I decided to try and wood burn these beautiful creatures. Having done few portraits I wanted to start out small to see if I could eve do it. I started with Neytiri. Her eye alone took me a couple hours. Needless to say...after I got half way through I was itching to burn Jake XD So I worked on both of these on and off, guess who got done first? =P JAKE! LOL

So after practicing I was feeling pretty confident to start the bigguns!
