The local carving club I belong to holds a show at our mall here in town every year to promote the club and we have whats called a Peoples Choice Vote for the public to participate in. There are different classes and different skill levels.

This was my entry and my first time participating. The theme was "Something with Wheels". I found this pattern in a wood burning book and decided to go with it. Since I was not fond of the subject matter it did not take long till I started to lose interest and wanted to quit, but my grandfather kept pushing me to get it done. The end result...I won LOL I felt so bad though because another woman in the club did the exact same picture I did and I had no idea till I went to put my piece up for display. So it was a fair coincidence but its always a little embarrassing. =)
