I’m super late to the party, but happy Year of the Dragon everybody! :D I needed something easy and fun to draw to take my mind off things, and came up with this little friend here. Though it has been a while since I’ve drawn a dragon amidst all my commissions and project work, I’m sure this still feels very “Katie Classic” for anyone who has known my work for a long time.

Haha true! I was just drawing a dragon randomly rather than making a specific type, but I do love the whiskers on eastern dragons :'D
And I think so too, as someone with many scarves myself I love to draw them.

WHOA! That is a wild color palette, and yet it works so well! I especially love how you have this dragon swirl so my eyes can't help but follow the movement of their body.

Aww, thanks so much! I'm really happy to hear that :'D The colour scheme took a bit of fiddling before I got here, but I'm happy where it ended up! And yeah I had a lot of fun with the pose, I think it adds a nice flow to it all :D
