I never really liked the Tallstriders (Large flightless bird from Warcraft), always thought they were boring looking. Then one day I met this hunter who had Mazzranache - a rare and unique pink one - as a pet. Somehow, I actually thought it was pretty cute. So I gave one a try myself, and quickly fell in love with them.

I set out and tamed Mazzranache myself, nicknaming her Mazzie, and adventured around with her. One day while traveling through Stonetalon and having her attack (and presumably devour) small critters like groundhogs, I started thinking about having some tallstrider vore.

Originally the thoughts were of them swallowing small critters whole, maybe some fish too. Then I was talking with a friend on Skype, and showed him this pic I took of her standing in front of a raptor mount, and he said that she'd probably eat him. I found that amusing, so I drew it :3

Heheh, poor raptor got eaten by a bird that would have in other circumstances been a delicious meal. Now he's the meal, being crammed down the gullet of a bird half his size! Not the best of moments for the former predator heh. No one ever expects a tallstrider to be a predatory sort!
