Okay so first let me say that I'm a bit surprised I forgot to upload this here, as this was my Top Favorited image on FA for a very very long time, and fairly well received on DA as well!

Secondly allow me to say I've never actually played the game this hydra is from ("Dragon's Dogma") - I've only seen a couple of videos of the various hydra fights and had friends tell me about it. Well, being the vore-lover I am I immediately was intrigued by the more unique part of the fight - its ability to swallow you and your buddies whole, with a sloooow trip down its throat with a truly fun wiggling bulge in the process. Also some nicely detailed - if somewhat unrealistic - mawshots.

Despite that, the hydra itself is pretty bland and has an uninspired design. It's more or less just an oversized python with three additional heads and no unique patterns, smaller eyes and bigger teeth. Hell, they didn't even name the thing. "Hydra" - that's it. That's all. Nothing more. Other than the swallowing you part, even the fight itself is pretty boring and tedious.

I'm pretty sure that only snake-lovers and vore-fans would find the hydra to be an interesting opponent. Nonetheless, I fit in with both categories (I do love my snakes!) and it sparked my desire to draw me some hydras. Over on FA I ended up going on a large hydra drawing spree, that lasted for 11 straight submissions with no breaks in between. While most consisted of the DD Hydra (Playfully dubbed the 'Lesser Hydra' by my friend and I due to its relation with the 'other' hydra in the game) I also drew a few hydras of my own design.

This spree was only broken by a bundle of comments and Notes I was getting about it, by people that were assuming that my drawing this hydra automatically made me a fan of the whole game and kept raving about how awesome the game was despite my many attempts to tell them otherwise, and those who insisted on trying to tell me all about how they killed the thing. It more or less made my enthusiasm for drawing it deteriorate, and I eventually moved on to other things. Was fun while it lasted though!

Anyway. So the idea for this image came from many people talking about their full willingness to be eaten by it, and a few people that griped about being "saved" accidentally by their AI buddies against their will, with me tossing in my own thoughts about the relationship between predators and the unlikely event that someone would want to be eaten by them - hence the head on the far right going "???"
