We were expecting to have a turkey dinner, not to be a turkey's dinner!  

Happy Thanksgiving everyone~ 
I really sped through the shading on this one, especially the background. Sorry! ^^; 

Having gorged itself on three individuals already I'm hoping it won't be hungry enough to try for a fourth helping too... 

The turkey burped up a shoe from one of my guests then casually turned its attention towards me  -  eep!
The turkey licked its beak contentedly then began to speak;
"Dinner tonight was delicious and quite filling,"  the turkey said cheerily,  "I thank you for inviting me over, you fed me well!"

I swallowed nervously - that's right, I did order a turkey dinner but... I wasn't expecting a live predatory turkey to be delivered to our table!

"Such a good meal! But every good dinner ends with dessert, and I can certainly fit you into my gizzard as well..."  This is what I was afraid of,  it wanted to eat me too!

The turkey tilted its head to one side quizzically, noticing my growing concern. 

"Since you've been such a good host, I'll let you decide for yourself if you'll allow me another helping, or if you'd rather not." the turkey then leaned in closer, bringing its head to my level then opening its beak up widely, "If you accept, all you need to do is just reach your hands into my beak and I'll take it from there."

It did not lunge, or try snapping at me. It really was giving the choice to me. 
I stared into its open maw and the dark, slimy tunnel behind it that led to its powerful gut.

Would I take this chance to run while it was still weighed down by food, or would I feed myself to the bird willingly?   The turkey patiently awaited my decision........
