Miss Kitty is a southern belle just ready to make her big debut at her cotillion. Her grandfather, Big Daddy Scratch, was the master of the sprawling tannis root plantation “Temptation,” before he mysteriously disappeared, leaving Miss Kitty to fend off relatives, creditors and lawyers all by herself. She’s a spoiled Georgia peach but she’s got some hints of steel magnolia in her, so she might come out on top.

For a long time, I’ve wanted to do a story set in hell that’s basically just a grotesque version of the Antebellum south. I might finally get around to it someday, maybe after I’ve finally got Guttersnipe finished, but I’m trying not to jump into it half-cocked like I usually do. Who knows if I’ll ever get around to it, but I thought I’d try designing some of the characters you would meet in southern Gothic hell. Of course, Kitty Scratch would appear, because when DON’T I put Kitty Scratch in my comics?
