Here folks, is one of the two main characters of Death Valet, monster hunter Alistair Garth, a humanoid alligator from a world where pretty much every mythical/folklore creature known to man lives openly alongside it...in humanoid and non-humanoid forms.

Alistair Garth is one of the world's greatest monster hunters...which is itself more bounty hunting and freelance law enforcement than what generally comes to mind when you hear 'monster hunter'.
As one of the biggest badasses in Hetelville, Florida, a city teeming with supernatural beings from all manner of species, Alistair has personally brought in some of the toughest bounties on Earth. He is much nicer than you'd expect, and is quite friendly...unless he's hunting you. He's much more altruistic than you'd expect from a bounty hunter, he's 'seen it all' and though he can be surprised...it ain't easy to do.
A prodigy when it came to asskicking (and also sarcasm), having killed a wild bunyip at the age of six with no help. He is also very much in love with a treasure hunting tigress named Anala Mritue...though he gets along very poorly with her brother Ednit.
However, his inability to drive cars on account of his legs has proven to be an enormous pain in the tail for the poor guy. More so than his arch-nemesis Ednit ever was. Hence why the monster hunter equivalent of John Wick is in need of a valet...
