Winter's Gallows- Chapter Two- The Haunting

AeroboltShadowVulpine

Kay so. Chapter 2. Like I said, the maturity level begins rising here and will likely stay that way for the entire series after chapter 1. I cannot say for certain since I am still working on it.
In this chapter, Lukan is haunted by the prospect of his new friend having ulterior motives since he is a highly distrusting coon that knows he needs to stop being the way he is. However... that is not the ONLY thing he becomes haunted by...
Let's continue the story of discovery and consequence...

Chapter Two of Draft One has 8,602 words.

So, Klaus is a fellow Canadian, eh? No wonder he's so friendly. XD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvBhFMgcZL0

And I had a feeling Lukan had suffered some sort of traumatic abuse as a child. Ironically enough, BOTH my biological parents suffered similar experiences, though with my mom in particular it was ESPECIALLY bad being that HER biological father was a psychopathic pedophile. Thankfully he's serving jail-time now.

And Lukan hates cellphones, too?! Damnit, Lukan! Stop being ME! XD

Are you kidding me? Lukan is supposed to be modeled after a chunk of MY personality, so... uh... ...eeyeayh...

Well, I suppose the biggest part that differentiates ME from Lukan and by extension you is that unlike most unpopular kids in school, I didn't hide or try to run away from the bullies. I bullied them BACK. However, since Canada is a place where violence against others, even if provoked, is unacceptable in ANY form, I was always the one to get in trouble while the bullies continued to laugh and torment me verbally. It also didn't help that I have tourettes syndrome, and at the time I was in school hardly anybody understood what "asexuality" was, so they would often ask me "hole or pole", and didn't seem to understand why I kept saying "neither."

As for my parents, I can't really speak for them on a psychological level, but they seemed to have turned out pretty well all thins considered.

Klaus himself has also got a bit of a dark past. That to be explained in chapter 5, and Lukan's goes further in depth in chapter 6.
Yeah. When I was in my middle school days, I fought back too. I am not the type who takes abuse at all. But it only made everything a million times worse, so I just gave up...

Well, again the difference with me is that "giving up" was a LOT harder than giving into the rage. I had a LOT of anger issues as a kid, and coupled with my borderline narcissistic personality disorder, every day was an effort to not just outright deck somebody if they so much as smiled at me the wrong way.
