This was meant to be a kind of counterpart to this picture of Ken and Larry.

The other two sailors on the Simian Rapscallion, Buzzy is the cabin boy and Sandalio is the ship's log keeper (as well as the closest thing they have to a doctor and a cook - not because he actually has any training in those areas but more because the others' sheer incompetence makes him look like an expert in comparison). These two don't always see eye-to-eye, and are often found bickering, deliberately egging each other on and trying to outsmart each other. The other crew members are never completely sure if Buzzy and Sandalio genuinely don't like each other, or if it's all done in jest as part of a kind of brotherly relationship. Perhaps they're not even sure themselves.
