Sitting down by Adrian Skunk

Sitting down

Adrian Skunk

I inked and colored a small sketch I had for practice. He doesn't have arms, but I didn't feel like going back in and changing it.

IF anyone has tips for coloring with color pencils, or inking with a brush, let me know.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say there's a Joe Murray influence here

Drawing from influences is a good way to start. I think that when I did my style started off as a Frankenstein's Monster of all the shows I used to watch as a kid, now I think over time that evolved onto something more original. So it seems to me that you have the right idea.....also Joe Murray is an awesome influence to have.

Yeah, I don't mind some of the newer cartoons out there. But I miss the visual gags that a lot of older ones had. Might have taken a little longer to draw, but it seemed to have more character and feeling in them.

Most new cartoons haven't done much for me.....but I am a big fan of Gravity Falls
