This is my Accel World duel avatar OC, Peridot Ward

His green color and name denotes his defensive combat style. He is based on my summoner, because my favorite game style is playing defensively, and summoning.

I've heard that your duel avatar is manifested from your subconscious, based on your hopes and dreams as well as your fears and insecurities. Since the avatars are rooted from a portion of your mind that is not within your control, and is difficult to interpret, it is hard to really truly determine what your own avatar might be like, but this is my best attempt at it.

My largest insecurity and fear is the trepidation of being alone. I have a poor self-image, which consequently amounts to a low self-value. Pleasantly, I am a spiritualist in theology, and thoughts of my spiritual guardian constantly inhabit my mind, which cheers me up. With these factors in mind, my duel avatar manifests in such a way that it itself is vastly insignificant and fairly incapable of attacking others directly, needing to rely on a 'savior' to fight for him. His limits are the limits of his AI guardian, and so even though he enters fights as if they were 2vs1 in his favor, he is often disadvantaged to most opponents. His foes only have to watch out for his guardian's attacks since his own abilities cannot cause damage, and if his guardian is subdued or separated from him, he becomes exceptionally vulnerable.
