on the road TO fwa, in the car staring at clouds, i kept seeing bird's bodies in the shapes of the clouds, since I'd done so many studies of them so closely before the con... my brain just wanted to pick birds from anything. So i started drawing the shapes quickly in my sketchbook, trying to get them down before the angle of the cloud would change as we drove, it was very fun!! Some would be more distinct, and others would be more like a vague idea of a bird...
