I've been doing so many bird doodles, so I thought a birdsona would be fun to finally tackle efficiently!! She's a golden conure! I think their posing, personality and body language suits me a lot!
the top sketches are early/rough starts; I decided to make her around-eyes a diamond shape instead of square, and to not have literal glasses... (golden conure have white skin around their eyes, so it's like an illusion of cartoon glasses, i think!).. all the bottom poses are the design i settled on! golden conure have such a beautiful, bright yellow color
