I’d like to raise awareness of the condition known as Didn’t Mean To Upset You syndrome. It’s a condition that affects approximately 1 in 8 people and is often misdiagnosed as Foot In Mouth syndrome, the crucial difference being that people affected by the latter are able to detect they said something wrong without verbal cues from other people in the conversation whereas people affected by DM2UY syndrome often don’t sense anything is wrong even after verbal cues and continue insisting they haven’t said anything hurtful. Spread awareness, call a helpline, purchase a bumper sticker!
And yes, we are right back to the day Chapter 1 ended on, no more time travel for now. If you think you are miffed think of all those outfits I had to keep at least somewhat consistent to a page I drew months ago...
This January hasn’t been that good when it comes to updating the comic. I am sorry about that and I’d like to assure you that this story and these characters are very dear to me and every time you are disappointed about the lack of updates I am likely to be even more disappointed. I am trying to do my best but life doesn’t always go as we plan. I’d like to take a day or two to doodle (I swear I am getting withdrawal symptoms, I bet it’s those notorious marker fumes) and then I’ll get back to Piss Business first and the main plot after that.

Dylan Moran is one of those people whose writing makes me feel better without trying to convince me that the world is better than I think, he's often spot on about this stuff. And yeah, it's not fun for Chauncey right now...

Sudden image of a giant foot falling on the cast does not seem to fit the serious tone, but it does make me smile for an odd reason.

Hehe... I dunno, I wouldn't be able to say if things get better or worse even if I wanted to spoil it - I don't want to write a story with a disney-esque "the guy gets his dream job, his girl and meaning of life and everything is awesome" sort of story so it's just about things moving on... It won't always be this bad but it also won't necessarily be that good. It's a funny life, innit?
