My little sister, her friend, and I were all just hanging out in her bedroom drawing. I was working on Oracle who needed to be inked at the time, and my sister and her friend wanted to try looking up some pictures and free handing them. My little sister is really good at drawing for her age, and it's almost a disappointment she doesn't have art classes beyond what her middle school could potentially throw at her; she really needs more.

Anyway, one of the best things she does are eyes, so naturally she wants to draw more of them. She pulled up a watercolor picture of some eyes with heavy make up and bleeding mascara, then trys to draw it. She was having a tough time since it had been a while since she'd had some time to sit and draw, so I tried to remind her of all the stuff she learned in Mark Crilley's How to Draw Photorealistic Eyes video (look that shit up on YT; he's an amazing teacher and artist and well worth the subscription). I'm not a good art teacher at all, at least I don't think, so I kinda just followed Mark's example best I could and started drawing alongside her and explaining to her what I was doing and different anatomical things with eyes to help her out.

Not that my eye came out perfect either - damned eyelashes are too close to the eye for starters - but that wasn't necessarily the goal of this. I just figured I'd upload this one since it's one of the doodles I rarely ever even do haha

It helped her a little, but she was having a bad art day (one of those days you sit down, try to draw, and for some reason you just can't seem to do art that day :I) but to make up for it I drew some sharpie "tattoos" (as her and her friend called it lolz) on their feet and ankles. I'll have to see if my sister took pictures so I can upload at least the anchor I drew on her foot just for shits and giggles.
