It's been like a hundred years (more like a year and a half) since I messed around with comics! Comics are a very time-consuming commitment- or they were when I did them seriously. Now that I think about it, it might have had to do with my clunky methods for doing stuff, too.
This was an attempt to try to make a page (panel???) a little faster and looser! I might do more in the future, but not a full-time comic commitment, because that requires some good hard planning that I haven't done.
Man comics are a great medium to tell stories with! While I think it would be fun to do comics again, for some kind of consistent story-type thing, it does take a lot of time and planning. @~@
Yeaah, I can agree with that. I've tried several times, then given up at some point because it was too time consuming: ( But I'm thinking about just doing short pieces at a time, that fit together in a larger story... Sort of like short-stories... That could be an idea?
That might be a good idea! Small self-contained comics would probably be more manageable and less of a Big Damn Commitment than a continuous and ongoing thing. It would also possibly avoid problems like rambling expositions and almost-entire pages of dialogue, simply due to limited length! (Those are problems I've run into before.)
