Nothing is quite as flattering and comfortable as bespoke clothing, especially when you have trouble finding your size in off-the-rack garments, like Zen. Fortunately, Dee's Newfoundland dog-guy, Charlie — being the sweetheart that he is — knows a thing or two about needle and thread, and is happy to help.
This was a piece that I'd streamed way back in January. I experimented with colouring it, but didn't end up with satisfying results. I usually prefer to refine my artwork more before uploading it to my gallery, but I don't think this one looks too bad in this sketchy phase. I found it while browsing through my own files and I figure that it's worth showing off!
Drawn with Photoshop.
The sketchy parts here and there actually make it look more realistic ! Like how the eyes would see it :3
That's what I was going for, though in a different sense! It was intended to be a first dog-person perspective. That's why this is in a 16:9 ratio; not only is that a widescreen format, it's roughly the shape of a person's vision. I even added a little dark patch at the bottom to roughly represent vision blocked by his muzzle.
I'm glad that you like it as is!
