Second Familiar for The-Monster-Makers.
My choices this time were barn owl, lion, plain's zebra, saluki and mountain goat. I obviously went barn owl and saluki.
I had a blast drawing her, oh man. Especially combining saluki and owl limbs together. If you're wondering why her forelegs look the way they do, go look up owl wing bones. I also had so much fun with her faaaace lookit that happy smile! The spots, not so much. Those are gonna be fun to draw every time :|
Shast named her Will-o' due to how the spots on her back look like tiny flames, like a Will-o'-the-wisp. She's just as mischievous as those spirits, and likes to steal things and bury them a mile away and come back pleased as punch. She doesn't quite understand that Flit isn't food, but she's learning.
