Love can take many forms, be it familial, between friends, or between lovers. In the case of the story of this project, there are heaps of each! Family is an especially important theme, as is the search for love, in whatever forms it may take.
I also wanted to have a 'friendship and love' song that didn't focus so much on the fact that most of the cast are complete douchebags. ( See: Cool Story )

I realized more recently, that while Verse and Lyrikos, for instance, had a theme for their bonding experience, but it didn't necessarily apply all the time, and no one else had a theme that showed any of them growing closer as friends, family members, or lovers. So... song. :V
