Zaere, the central Imperial Knight barracks which supports most of southern Kerlynzia, is a relatively recent construct. It is a simple town, with a few small shops, and mostly is taken up by the barracks themselves, and the offices of high-ranking knights who often work from here, rather than the southern capital, Auraimsho. The town's only prominent feature is a large clock tower.
In Season 2, Verse and the others are tasked with some inane crap undertakings for the government, including completing the southern leg of the Kerlynzian Railway, solving a land dispute, and cornering an enraged feral gryphon. All the missions begin in Zaere. It's a good place to stock up and get new ammunition and weapons.
The song changes every time the player returns after completing a mission.
