One night I couldn't sleep so I decided to write up twenty facts about one of my OCs.

20 Facts about Meranda Leeds

• Meranda’s online handle is Marzmutt.
• Ever since she was a child, Meranda has had a slight aversion to birds. She doesn’t like their eyes and their little feet.
• Meranda loves pretty dresses and princess stuff. Unfortunately, her current living situation gives her very few opportunities to play dress up.
• Meranda’s mother chose the unusual spelling of her name because she wanted her to stand out. Sometimes Meranda misspells it on purpose to spite her.
• She loves her some Chicago Cubs and has won many a TV remote battle in order to watch them. These battles were up against 300lbs of vampire.
• Meranda was the pitcher for her baseball team in high school.
• NOBODY in Meranda’s family can cook very well including her. - - She survived up until this point on take-out, TV dinners and the kindness of others.
• She plays a Pandaren hunter and a Worgen druid on WoW and her favorite thing to do is tank for her group and collect battlepets.
• When she was in high school, Meranda used to proudly call her car the Man-Maker because two different boys lost their virginity in it.
• Meranda loves to read. She’ll give anything a good first-few-chapters try but her favorite books are science fiction.
• Meranda once shot a man and paralyzed him from the waist down. Although the man was an escaping convict and there were no charges pressed against her, this resulted in her expulsion from police training and her inability to get a decent job.
• She has reoccurring nightmares about the Mad Hatter from Disney’s Alice in Wonderland even though she is incredibly fond of the film.
• Meranda has watched Dune more times than is healthy for any human being.
• Her birthday is November 4th, making her a Scorpio.
• There are few foods Meranda won’t eat but fish is one of them because they are gross, gross, gross THEY SWIM WHERE THEY POOP. THEY BREATHE POOP WATER.
• Adding to the fact above, Meranda doesn’t like swimming in natural bodies of water. It’s a pool or nothin’.
• Meranda is attracted to confidence and likes a challenge.
• She claims that her high alcohol tolerance (for her size) is because of her Irish heritage but it’s hard to trace the family’s roots beyond every female she’s related to having red hair. The only freckles she has are on her back.
• Baseball caps are her favorite kind of hat to wear.
• Meranda keeps her hair short because she hates her mother. When she was a girl, her mother used to braid a pair of pigtails for her. She liked them just fine until the rift between them forms. When she feels her hair on her shoulders she feels queasy.
