Into the Nothing (critique requested)

Wolven-Sister

eyyoo!~
Finally!! I was able to do some personal art, it's been too long ;3; Instead of uploading a comic page, I wanted to do some new art
for the year 2014.
I've been contemplating about redesigning my fursona Essence, so the illness that she carried into death has ran it's coarse. She is now being enveloped by the darkness and will be nothing, even something that her time in limbo cannot even touch.
This means I will no longer draw Golden Essence, because that is being redone. I may draw Ghost Essence if I feel like it, but character-wise Ghost Essence no longer exists.
I hope next week I can finish a picture of Essence's new design and maybe a reference sheet since her fur patterns are going to be a little more layered.

I hope you guys like this picture!! Thanks so much for checking it out! <33

The drawing of the icy wind is awesome

Forty-eight layers? Dang!! That's fantastic and amazing; I'd lose track of what-was-what at ten!
The perspective of the muzzle is fantastic, way to get the shadows and light to help accent that, and I love the accent flairs you did along the tips of her fur. Makes it stand out and make her look more fluffeh.
The smoothness of the blurs too over her paws are stunning; one stroke without losing the picture beneath, and the brush stroke continued over the lines and picture without hiccuping or missing the lines. The overall feel and smoothness of the picture too makes it all seem like it is dream-like, not at all solid and just as transparent and thin as the character is becoming.
    Full of win!
