I love the way you painted the path for the wolf; it looks carved out, but only because I can see the sides of the dirt. Otherwise, the grass gives it such a smooth, wave-like curl along the outsides and it looks as if the wolf is literally making his way home. The lightning behind him is interesting too, especially since I see so much light in the center, and it seems magical since I can't see any thunderclouds or dark skies. :)
His front paws seem a little unbalanced though; down the legs to the paws seem inconsistent, although you did a great job with his hind leg and tail. :3
