Rhythm of a Fight by Kyna_Inkweaver

Sloppy Right Straight, aimed at my face,
Left outward block, counter right jab.
Opponent staggers back in place,
pulls out a knife, lunges to stab.

Step off center, right hand crane.
Left chop neck to increase pain.
Knife now drops, foe retreats back.
Approach and finish the attack.

Wild swing for body blow,
Two hand block at wrist and shoulder,
Grab and break arm on knee for show.
Watch them fall now, like a boulder.

Check for threats, and if theres none.
Wrap it up, this fight is done.

I am fond of martial arts. I have taken Kenpo and advanced to green belt before I had to quit, but I still practice and apply what I've learned to other arts I observe.
I decided to take a moment and dissect a fight scenario, and write it as a sonnet.
It turned out pretty freaking well.
