While Roland owns a pair of those fighting claws, he tends to only wear one on his left hand, leaving his right hand free for tasks like using control panels, driving vehicles, or holding a firearm. He often forgoes any sort of body armor in favor of using his speed and agility to avoid getting shot while he charges across the battlefield, slicing down enemy forces with his heavy metal fighting claws. His background as a boxer gives him impressive forearm strength and enables him to do incredible amounts of damage with the claws, either by slashing or stabbing with them.
