As a tribute to Neil Blomkamp's new film Elysium, I thought I'd unleash my new pencil set upon the Poleepkwa from his first blockbuster hit, District 9. Being an avid fan, I conjured this guy up from memory (no references other than the title itself), and to be honest, I'm quite pleased. This is the product of 6 hours of sketching plus a few minutes on Photoshop CS2 to adjust the contrast. Yes, I know there is a "DA" symbol in the middle, I don't feel comfortable releasing the original, digital copy. It is the watermarked version from DA to save me time and keep people from stealing.
