It's funny because it's more true than you think. Today, you run into people who get mad at you for not agreeing with them or what they do etc, even if it's a agree to disagree respectful situation. People will get triggered and seek out past comments you said, or rumors based on you, or even lies someone said about you and use it against you, because the person wants to try and ruin your life and rep as much as possible. This is spot on since this happens on Twitter most of all. Because judging people based on what they did decades ago, or lies ppl tell about them is "ok". Now.
